Halloween

I know you all have been waiting to see pictures of our wicked pumpkins. You will just have to wait longer, I cna't load the pictures right now bummer.

Corn maze

The weekend was so much fun. I won tickets to the corn maze and that's what we did Saturday with the Spences of course. What a fun free day on me.

Friday night was pretty much a bore, Saturday we hung out as Conner had his birthday party, watched BYU win a football game, went to the corn maze, and carved pumpkins.

Our pumpkins turned out so good. Mickie made Mr. Incredible by shaving the pumpkin and Will and I did a tiki guy. Willis pumpkin was all soft. We think that it was rotting from the inside our, so we opted just to carve one this year. We didn't want to deal with the mess Zannie did a few years back, YUCK!

The corn maze was a blast. It took us about an hour to get out of both sides. At one point Matt gave Jason a cob with all the corn pulled off and he would get so mad at us when we pulled it away from him. It was so funny. Matt also came up with a way so we could see him in the maze (ok we really couldn't see him, but it was funny).

Sunday was a hang out day. The primary program was fun to watch. Will did a great job playing the piano and leading holding hands around the world.

Nap time

I wasn't going to put this up until later, but it was too funny. Oh and the poor kid bonks his head. I felt really bad, but he didn't cry at all.

First snow

It snowed yesterday YUCK! (although my dad is probably bummed that he is missing it and Colton (so he can go snowboarding)). Other then snowy weather Jason has another first. He climbed down the stairs last night. Hurray! I still don't trust him going down though. That will take a while.

He also has cut another tooth on the top. He now has 3 teeth going on 4. He has been a crabby pants these last few days, but it is nothing a little numbing medicine didn't cure. I think he will get in a few more soon, but who knows we have been saying that for ever.

Pajama pictures

Ok so I made Jason some pajamas. They are WAY WAY to big. I will make a smaller size for the rest of them.

Anyways the first picture is when we put them on him and then the other pictures are of him when he woke up. (This ones for you Kailee) If you can't see the video, the pictures pretty much tell all.

Sunday we hung out at the Spences, made dinner, talked, and watched a movie.

Weekend of family and football

Yes Yes I know I forgot to take pictures. Maybe I can get some from Mickie. I always forget to take pictures when family is here (no Mickie and Matt you don't count). We had a very fast weekend With every one here. We hung out Friday and went to the game on Saturday. By Sunday every one was home.

My mom got a kick out of how big Jason got in the last 2 months and so did the rest of the family. It was funny to watch. I don't think Jason stepped foot on the ground the whole weekend, maybe everyone forgot he could crawl (JK).

We got to see the Spences as well. Tanner sure is a cute kid. I have decided that newborns scare me to much now. I need them solid like Jason. He was just so tiny. Thank goodness kids grow up quick!

Wave Hi

So this is what Kenzie taught Jason...Sorry it is so dark. I can't even see him. I will probably take a better one later, but this is good for right now.

Project

So Kenzie finished her pajama pants yesterday. We had a good time sewing them. She did everything herself. I was very impressed at how well they turned out! She picked such cute fabric.

Jason also learned some new tricks. He can wave, dance, and he growls when you ask him what a lion says. He is such a smart cookie when he wants to be!

Dancing

Jason was in the bedroom and when he heard the song he crawled out and started to dance. He is such a silly little boy.

WU - Weekend Update

This weekend started early! Mickie and Matt won tickets to an advanced screening of "Flicka" (Tim McGraw movie) so we left Saturday morning at 7 to go see that. We got the best seats in the house. It was early, but not too bad because some nice people let us wait inside. We felt bad because we weren't allowed to let anyone else in even though they were outside waiting. The movie was good. I give it 2.75 stars. It told a good story, but I thought it lacked detail and Ooomph. We spent the rest of the day relaxing. I went and disc golfed with Jesse (friend from work). I'm pretty sad that the good weather is coming to an end. It's pouring rain as I speak.
On Sunday we went and visited the Kearns. Kristin is helping Kenzie make pajama pants. Conner helped remind me that I'm no longer any good at video games.
Well that was our weekend. We've decided that we need to make a shirt for Jason that says "I'm NOT teething! I just like to drool a lot!" (Everybody sees him and says, "Hmm, he must be teething.") He must get that trait from his mom's side.

1001 viewer

Yesterday we reached the 1001 views of the web page. I was the 1000th and so i called Will up, "Will, go to our blog, go to our blog. You will be the 1001 visiter! You will win a prize!!" So he hurried and visited the site and won! He came home and asked what he won, but I was totally joking. Poor guy, maybe I will have to get him something.

Oh and on a fun note I did just win tickets to the corn maze from the radio. I am excited!! I wanted to go anyways. Matts picking up the tickets for us and we will head there in the next few weeks. Fun stuff!! If i can't win flicker tickets then thats a good second best. I was on the radio and sounded like ahuge dork, but i had a pretty good MOO going on!

Climbing Stairs

Here is the first time Jason climed the stairs. He wants to climb them all the time now.

Xocai meeting

So Will sacrificed an hour and went to a xocai meeting so that we would get a free dinner and movie tickets. Who ever was putting the meeting on they were giving it away if you attended. We have a friend in the xocai stuff so if we would join or want stuff it would be under him. So now we get to go out for free. We are super excited, but we have to use it with in the next week (date night!)

After we headed up to the Kearns. As we were going to the store I had to put jasons car seat in their truck and then i stuck my hands out to grab Jason. Kenzie didn't know what i was doing. I was in a very tall truck so she grabbed my hands and was tying to help me out. How polite. I died laughing. I don't need help getting out of a truck.

Connor is very sly i would have to say. We were getting fabric for Kenzies pajama pants and Connor says so you should make me a pair of pajamas so that you could "show Kenzie" how to sew. We ended up buying fabric for him as well, but i was amazed at the craftiness of the suggestion. What silly cousins I have!

Pajama Pants

Ok so yesterday I spent it making pajama pants. I only have and hour or two with Kenzie tonight so I wanted to make sure that we could get as much done as possible with out me messing up. I have the process down and I even altered the pattern so that it will fit her a little better. I hate the patterns that are meant for 1 inch below the waist. It is so high. But what ever.

Will and I also went to a cooking demonstration last night at the grocery store. I didn't realize that it was a pampered chef lady. It was the lady that did Bobbies party. So I had already see the recipe's. I think I should look at what the recipe's are next time.

Surprise Entry

Sigh, this is Will. I was just thinking that before we know it, we won't be taking daily pictures of Jason and he won't be nearly cute as he is now. What a sad thought, but at least he's the cutest little guy right now!

Popcorn

Jason LOVES popcorn!! I bite off the kernel pieces and give him the fluffy pieces and he LOVES it. He was even giving me kisses when i was giving it to him. Ok the picture is not really flattering angle for me (no I have not gained weight), but what ever it was a cute picture of Jason, so look at him.

Speaking about unflattering angles Mickie surprised me yesterday so that we could go to the store. Well I was showering and after she thought i was finished and dressed, but i wasn't. She saw me naked. Yickes!! I just think she is trying to get me back for walking in on Matt. (I didn't see any thing I swear, Mickie).

I forgot to mention. Troy and Tracie sent us some sleepers for Jason!! We are so excited. I am tired of Jason waking me up at 3 am because he is cold. Thanks a ton!!

Apple Pie

Sunday night we hung out with the maxwells. We haven't seen them in a while so we thought we would stop by. Linda made apple pie. That crust was really good. And I don't even like pie crusts. We watched the "Crying show" Extreme Home Make-Over and the last half of star wars. I guess they had a star wars marathon and watched all 6 in order.

I put my skirt on top of Jason and he managed to put it on. Silly kid!

Friday and Saturday

We had a blast this weekend. Friday night we went over to Jesse and Kristi's house to play games. They both killed us at racko, but then Will won ticket to ride and cleared our name. We had a great time and would have liked to have stayed longer, but we had a busy day on Saturday. Kailee and Jason had a great time playing. Kristi took out a big basket of toys and they sat and played with each other and the toys for at least 30 min if not more. It was wonderful. They both play well together.

Saturday morning I went to get some patterns for my cousin. I am going to help her sew a few things. Then it was off to the BYU game. Travis baby-sat Jason and the picture is of them when we came home. It was adorable. Jason was sleeping on him like that for a while.

Mickie and I did some more painting. We are eventually going to get these craft projects done. All I really have left to do is cut the proclamation up and pour the proxy stuff over it. I am excited for it to be done.

Cape

Ok i know the picture is blurry, but I just had to put it up any ways because he is such a cute boy. He is showing off his cape!

Yesterday we lost connection with the internet and oh man that is depressing. I am addicted to the internet. I take it for granted most of the time.

But before i found out the internet was gone i finished Jasons costume. Mickie said that I can't send a picture because you have to wait for Halloween. He is so cute in it though. Oh my gosh it is so honken cute. I just wish I could show him off more. We will do the Noni costume contest, but thats about it. He is to young to trick or treat. Sigh...

Movies any one?

So this is Jason's new past time. Every chance he gets he pulls out all the movies. You can really see his brain work. First he looks at the movies on the bottom and then the top. He mostly goes for the movies on the bottom. He sure does keep me busy.

Yesterday will got half the day off. He went to a 10 year celebration for noni in the morning and then he came home, took a nap and then we went to see Superman returns. It was ok, but i don't think I would watch it again. Superman has a kid in this movie. Since when does he have a kid?

Sleeping

I decided to finally get a picture of Jason when he sleeps. Yes he is a Bragg in that aspect. I sleep with my eyes open as well. You have to look closely in the picture to see it, but they are open. I know it is hard to tell. It is weird to watch his eye go back and forth and in the back of his head when he is sleeping. I am sure glad Will sleeps with his eyes all the way closed!

Bath Time

Ok so we got some really cute pictures of Jason when he was taking a bath on Saturday night. Mickie was changing Jason's diaper and it got every where (not her fault). It was one of the funniest things. I ended up dying laughing next to them, while Will ran down stairs to help. Mickie was yelling "oh oh its a 3 wiper! Help, Help! It's up his back." Jason doesn't respond well to Mickie's theatrics some times. Its pretty funny.

So he ended up having to take a bath. Matt and Jason played for a while. I think they both need their hair cut!

Conference

Conference was fun. We had Matt and Mickie, Suzanne, and Lucy over. Saturday Suzanne and I were bored all day, and finally ate dinner at 8 when Will returned from the preisthood session. Matt and Mickie came over after as well.

We hung out all night and Sunday was pretty much the same. We had French toast for breakfast and had an early dinner of ribs. They were a little on the crispy side. I still haven't mastered the bbq sauce from not burning. They were still ok. Then Suzanne had to go home.

During conference we had a few sleepers, listeners, and crafter. I did my various crafting projects (painting tiles, gluing jasons mane on, and cutting quilt pieces), Suzanne, Mickie, and Lucy all painted blocks which turned out fabulous. I think they are all pleased with them, and they all match their personalities.

Jason enjoyed watching conference as well. He roamed around and played with every one. He especially loved playing with Matt. At one point he was playing with WIll, saw Matt and B-lined it to Matt. It was pretty funny.
