Fully Invested

Yesterday was the Cougar Kick off. Matt was able to get some cleats from last year for really cheap and we also got shirts that said fully invested. I like the look of them.

We then had dinner and then went out separate ways with the guys. The girls went to get signatures and the guys went disc golfing. Yeah a little backwards, but it was still fun. I am just glad that the guys took Jason. I stood in line for an hour to get signatures, while Mickie and Suzanne walked around and got other signatures.

They did get me my favorite players signature from last year. I was so excited, Mickel signed my shirt!! Suzanne also was pretty excited that one of the players drew secret play number 62 on her shirt (or was it 65?). Anyways Mickie got him to sign his name with 3 colors and he was bragging to another player. Suzanne piped up and said "I wasn't that cool, you didn't do that for me." So she asked him to circle his name to make it cooler, but instead he drew the play. It was pretty funny. Yes I know that was a very long story, sorry.

Here is Jason saying what.

Will's Entry: Not Forgotten

It seems my lovely wife has forgotten a story that she was very eager to share with me.
Yesterday Jason was drinking his sippy cup of milk. He dropped it and got some droplets on the floor. Kristin watched as he went to the tissue box, grabbed one - proceeded to blot the floor and then to top it off, went to the trash can, opened the lid and threw it away.
That's all!

Grandpa Bragg

Yesterday was a day watching Shrek the third and playing at the park. Jason can now handle going to see cartoons at the movie theater. I was so excited that he actually watched the movies. I think I will have to start taking him to the kids movies more often now.

As for the park, Will and I stopped by a park just to let Jason play for a few min. He meet this adorable little girl who played with him. She would say come on, lets do this. Jason would just follow and smile. How cute.
I think it is about time we got him a big boy bed. We did how ever buy him a pillow yesterday. That back fired as soon as he saw it he flipped out and through it out of his crib. Humm maybe tonight he will use it.

I am sad to say that my Grandpa Bragg went into surgery yesterday. They found a tumor on his bladder and took it out. It was a pretty big tumor and we are hoping that it is the kind that doesn't grow back. I hope every thing goes well.

Laundry

Last night Travis was over to do laundry and eat dinner with us. Even though he was pretty bored most of the time, I am glad that he was able to get out of his apt.

I went to another class last night and learned how to make fried ice cream. It was really good, but I don't know how often I would do it. The other recipes they made were good too. I am excited to try them out. There was one where you made an ice cream cake, but it was ice cream sandwiches with a filling. So easy and good.

Britany is not having any more contractions and is doing well. The medicine they gave her so that she wouldn't feel the contractions was pretty strong. I guess she is a really funny high person. Just as funny as Suzanne. I am glad that HD had to take care of instead of me :)

Britany

In case you all didn't know yesterday Britany went into labor. She is 4 weeks early. Anyways she was in and out of the hospital 3 times yesterday. In the end she was down to having contractions every min and a half, but they were only lasting 30-45 seconds.

The doctor told her to go home and take some medicine to stop the contractions. The poor girl is probably going to end up having the baby in her house. I can't believe that they sent her home. They want to see if they can delay her from giving birth, so that the baby's lungs can develop better. Well hopefully the meds work, but I don't understand why they made her go till she was having contractions that close together. Shouldn't they have given her meds sooner? She must be so tired. Well Good luck to her.

Game night

It started to pour at about 6 and Jason was a handful. He cried from 5-7 pretty much straight, throwing fits. It was great fun. I decided that maybe he wanted to go out in the rain. I don't think that he liked it that much. He really enjoyed looking at it, but not being in it.

Once Bobbie and Jeremy came over Jason was a peach. It is interesting to see what company does to him. We had a great night of Killer Bunnies. It has been over a year and a half since Will and I had played the game, so Bobbie cracked out the rule book a few times. Poor Bobbie keep making her self the target by getting massive amounts of bunnies. She also had most of the carrot cards. Now if you have never played the game you win by luck in the end. You collect carrot cards and then you draw another stack and see what card is the winner. So it came down to Will having 2 carrots, I had 2, and Bobbie had 16. Out of those 16 cards you would have thought that one was the winner, but no Will stole the victory out from under her nose. It was pretty funny. Next time we are going to teach them how to play Settlers of Catan.

Jason is also turning into me. He took a tissue from the box, wiped the floor a few times, and throw it away (he randomly wiped the floor). I just about died. I think that he has been watching me a little to close. You've got to love kids mimicking you.

Bee's game and Staying up

Friday Mickie got all of us tickets to see the Bee's game in Salt lake. It was nice because she had picnic tickets for us to eat there before. It was a good game. All of the guys were board, but us girls had a great time. I do have to say that if you take a kid to one of those games it is like trick or treating in august. Jason came away with so much stuff including a backpack (that is actually pretty decent quality), a helmet, pencils, cups, and toilet paper (one ply, yuck). It was crazy.

At the picnic Jason found rocks. You have to give him credit for putting them in his armpits and shoving them under his chin. He is a pretty resourceful boy.

Yes I have retarded sisters, hahaha. I think we had a little to much fun at the game.

He did learn how to say NO NO NO. Now I hear it all day long when he doesn't want me to do something. I will have to get it on the camera one of these days.

Saturday was pretty relaxing and then fun at night. We went out to dinner, frolfing, and mini-golfing with Matt Mickie and Suzanne. I picked the wrong course to go mimi-golfing on. The whole time we played next to the go carts. Let me tell you after a while the exhaust from the carts and the noise really gets to you. Will yelled at me "YOU SMELL REALLY NICE TONIGHT!" The best touch was that he had to yell it.
Matt and Suzanne did the batting cages as well.

It was a super long night and it was the latest night Jason ever stayed up. We had him up till 12. He came home and passed out on the floor.

Sunday we took a walk. Oh the poor kid is turning into Colton. He was jumping over all of the cracks. It was the funniest thing to watch, especially when he stood on the crack to jump over it.

One Year

I know I usually don't blog on the weekends, but I thought that I would just tell everyone that it is my blogging anniversery today. It has been a pretty quick year (Jason really helps me pass the time, man they really do grow up fast).

Ok I am just joking I missed it. I was so set that it was the 11, but I really started on the 9th. Well now we all know.
Here is one of the first pictures I posted. He couldn't even crawl yet. What a happy stationary boy that doesn't get into mischief.

Skirt-dress??

Last night I was able to go to another Macey's class. This lady did slushies, sorbets, and sherbets. All of them were gross except for the sorbet, now that was actually really good. Will liked the pineapple sorbet that she made as well. Ok so the whole point of me telling you that was because Will watched Jason during the class.

Now he decided to go shopping for me during this class to find me a pair of black church shoes and a maternity skirt. I am having a hard time finding a skirt even online. How crazy is that. I guess Pregnant women never wear skirts (at least that's what I gather from all of our shopping).

The shoes that he bought me I really like, but the skirts-dress not so much. HAHAHA. It was a whole $0.97. Good for him for finding such a bargain. He honestly thought that it was a really long skirt. I took one look at it and started laughing (no i didn't hurt his feelings). It was a tube top dress. He was bound and determined for me to use it as a skirt. "It might look good as a skirt. Try it on." Well here we go, I tried it on.....
Under the belly... Dang I am attractive.
Over the belly... Yeah I don't think so.
Tube top... I think I will pass. (Maybe as a swim suit cover up that I wear only in the car.)
How sweet. He really tired. I have a great husband!

Pictures on the Wall

So I realized that I never showed you what Suzanne and I hung up. Here you go...

When we went to Ottavios last week, Matt took Jason out for a walk. This is how he came back in. He had a stick in his belt loop and 2 rocks in his hands. What is is with little boys and rocks.

We also are the proud owners of All-sports passes. Wahoo. I am a little disappointed though. I am going to miss the BYU-Utah game. Bummer. I will have given birth by then, dang. Humm, maybe I can get Matt or Mickie to stay home and watch the kids. Yeah I know that would never happen, haha (how dare I even suggest that).

Will and I have also decided on a name. It is most likely what we are going to name her, but I still want that wiggling room in case I want to change it. It is going to be Sierra Hallie Wu (we are still working on the spelling). We were able to come up with her name a lot easier then Jason. We both just kinda agreed on these names, plus I am not a huge fan of naming kids. It is so much pressure. This kid is going to go by this name for the rest of their lives. I just hope she likes it. Maybe the next one will have Deja in it, hehe.

Exhausted

I am going to make this a pretty quick entry today. I am so exhausted. Yesterday was a pretty normal day with the exception of Joanna being here. Now she knows how our days play out (not to exciting). Jason enjoyed seeing his grandma in between sleeping and naps. I wish I took some pictures, but alas I forgot. I even forgot the camera again today. Oh well, next time.

Today Kailey, Jason, and I went bowling and then we had a picnic at Wills work. This time it went a lot better. We ate inside this time and then walked around in the "backyard" as Kailey calls it. Ok that's pretty much it. I guess I just wanted to say "hi."

Slides

Good Morning all. I forgot to post yesterday telling you all of the great weekend we had. Britany's baby shower I thought was a success. Even with the guys getting in that pretty bad accident and us starting really late, we all seemed to have a pretty good time. Thanks for all that came.

Saturday was a fun day at seven peaks. Jason had a blast!! He absolutely loved all of the slides.

Here is the tube Will and Jason were suppose to be on...

Here they are after 3 people ran them over. It really didn't seem to phase Jason at all. Will took the brunt of the hits. The people that ran them over felt really bad, but what were they suppose to do?

After each time down Jason would find someone with a tube, grab the handle, and try to help take the tube back up for another turn. I really don't think that he was much help.
Mom...
HD and Suzanne...
Matt and Jason...

Dinner was at Ottavios. They forgot to get Britanys dinner out, so he gave us 2 free pieces of cake. It was so yummy

Sunday was dinner at Matt and Mickies with a little time playing at the park. I never realized how much Jason LOVES slides. He went on it over and over again. Then we said bye to my mom. It was a great weekend.

Yesterday we made pretzels, and then had dinner with Joanna and her friends. I always love a good Chinese dinner. Jason was attached to my hip though. I guess thats what happens when he doesn't take a nap.

Will's Surprise Entry: Cars

Yesterday was supposed to be the perfect evening for Matt and I. There's a disc golf course next to the Mt Timpanogas Temple (15 min away) that we like to play. It's a more "advanced" course which means the girls don't like going because it's got more ups and downs and is a harder hike. The course is also less maintained and less "nice".

Anyway, yesterday Kristin and Mickie threw a baby shower for Britany. It also happened to be perfect weather. On a scale of 1-10 . . . 10! Well we were driving over with HD and Travis (Kristin's cousin). We took Matt's old Mazda Protige. We were in semi-residential when a Lexus SUV was driving our direction on the street. They didn't know where they were going and were indecisive about left or straight. At the last second, they made a left right in front of us. Matt yelled and we all braced for impact.

HD got out first wheezing about his chest, Travis soon after. That left Matt and I - I was sitting behind him & just envisioning him passed out over the steering wheel. I asked if he was OK and he moaned an affirmative. So I got out and the 2 girls (driving the other vehicle) were freaking out.

To make a long story short, we're all OK, though a little sore today. I think all of us have red marks where our seatbelts dug into our chest. The girls were weirded out because we were all laughing and joking about the whole ordeal. I think it was mainly because we were all surprised that we weren't injured.
PS - This is my 1st post with loaded pictures!

Football camp

Last night was the annual women's football camp for BYU. It was pretty interesting again. Before we even walked in, my mom saw some of the coaches and they knew exactly who she was when she walked up. They now call her Medford. She also won a signed football for traveling the furthest.

This is the stadium locker room. I guess I just really like to make stupid faces, haha.

It was tough for them to separate all the women this year because last year 200 showed up and this year 400 came. So when it came to the football class they did it as a group. I learned a little, but my mom and others who know the sport learned absolutely nothing. Ehh hopefully next year they will be able to figure a better way of doing the classes.

This is Brian Kehl. He is single and my mom likes to tease Suzanne about it.

The drills were fun again this year. It was harder for me to do them, but I still ran with all the other girls. Britany also did great running the drills. I think she is going to be a little soar today though. It was fun to see her hop with that belly of hers.

Ok this will probably embarrass Britany, but I have to put it on the blog. It was just so funny. I made quasadillas for everyone at lunch (ok put the stuff out and made some meat for them to make them). Will wanted to eat Matiki's leftovers, so I made him some rice. He finished his lunch and put his plate on the counter. We all didn't think anything of it because we all knew it was his old plate.

Britany woke up from her nap and started to make her lunch. She knew I cooked up some meat, so she started taking the bones off of Wills old plate and putting them on her tortilla. She then put the extra rice on it as well. She just thought that I had really burned the meat and that is why it was so hard. When Will noticed what she was doing we all died laughing, poor girl. I can't believe that she was that polite, that she was going to eat Wills bones. HAHA.

On a good note, my mom found out this week that one of her teeth died and it was killing another tooth. Ok really that is not good news, but in Medford it would have taken her 3 weeks to get the 2 root canals done. She has to go to a specialist because they are so bad. So we did a little calling around and now she is getting them done here right now, and it is even going to be 300 bucks cheaper.

Here is an explanation of the War dance they do before the games.

Here is Mickie's question to the players.

Will's Entry: Harry Potter/Harry Potter

This request is here on behalf of Kristin . . .
Kristin gets the credit for getting me into Harry Potter. Coming back from my mission, I had no idea what it was. Well, she said we should go watch the 2nd movie at the theatres (The Chamber of Secrets). We went and saw it and I left utterly confused. Feel free to ask me why in person. Anyway, she thought I might do better if we rented the 1st one. Ummm, not too much better, though at that stage in our relationship I remember being p-r-e-t-t-y distracted by Kristin's presence during movies. (Remember those days, when you can't stop thinking about the person you're with?)
Make a long story short, Kristin got me the books for Kristin and I plowed through the 1st four in the series in a matter of a month.
Anyway, when the 5th one was supposed to be released, I placed an pre-order for Kay. I sent it the the wrong address (ours) and so I called and cancelled the order. Well the launch occured, we scrambled and bought a copy. A few days later, what arrives in the mail . . . our cancelled copy! Well, we got a book for free and sold it to my roommate Paul.
Now for the reason for this entry - with the release of the final book a couple weeks ago, we ordered another copy for ourselves off of Overstock again. Then we decided we'd just cruise Walmart at midnight to get a copy. I called Overstock and cancelled our order. Well yesterday our copy arrived in the mail. How's that! We've managed to get two free copies of Harry Potter books over the years.
Sorry that this entry was so long, but it'll make for a good FJ entry - Family Journal.
So who's the real winner???? - Mickie, cuz now she doesn't have to wait for Kristin to finish!

Paint

Yesterday was not so productive. After trying to hang pictures in the living room for an hour and a half and 2 dry wall screws breaking in the wall, Suzanne and I need to patch the wall. The problem is trying to match that stupid paint. We have tried almost every paint tile out there, but nothing. We have also been to walmart 2 times trying. I think we will have to head over to home depot and hopefully they have the right color. I am not taking any chances I am taking as many of those silly cards as I can fit in my hand. I don't want to go back multiple times matching cards.

Everyone is here for the football camp tonight. I am excited. Wahoo.

Amen

Jason has learned how to say amen. You have to be pretty fast during your prayers, or he will try to end them really early for you. All of a sudden you hear amen in the middle. It is interesting at church, but I assume all little kids do it.

It was another very productive day of cleaning bathrooms, putting together pictures, making pumpkin rolls, and gluing on heads. Things are getting done slowly but surely. Hurray!!

Suzanne and my new favorite store is Maceys. Since Suzanne has been here, we have gone to Maceys every day except for Saturday and Sunday. Don't worry we have to return a red box movie tonight, so we will go again (it has been 10 days so far, how many do you think we can fit in there).

Correction

I have a correction to make on Kristin's entry. The reason why I rated it a 47% instead of a 50% is because both loaves of bread were smashed in the process of shipping and handling (aka: the bagger and Will). Kristin has already designated the smashed portion to Will as his piece though. That way we don't have to live with smashed bread. Just him. (She's nuts...) Also, I got a Multigrain donut at Krispy Kremes. It's healthier right? LOL. Lastly, Kristin forgot that she got her toes done yesterday. The request was a giraffe. That's a first. Well we took of picture of how they turned out. We were thinking of a painting party sometime in Sept. Any ideas on what else we could do while I use my creative genius painting skills (I wish I was that good...lol).

47% successful

Yesterday was the start of a busy week. I am trying to get the house ready for Britany's baby shower and well it is an excuse for me to get stuff done that I have been needing to. Suzanne and I washed the couch covers, water bed sheets, made lemon bars (for Will's work), did a cross word puzzle, and made dinner. Terribly exciting I know.

So we then went out on a shopping trip to quicksilver, burlington coat factory, krispy kream, and maceys. The first 2 stores we couldn't find what we wanted, but the last 2 were successful. Hence the 47%. Oh the percentage went down because all of a sudden Suzanne looked over at Jason and he had a bloody nose. That's what he gets for sticking his finger up there. She was kind enough to clean him up while I was renting a steam cleaner.

The night ended in a great family activity (minus Jason) of steam cleaning the floor down stairs. It took 2 hours, and we finished pretty late 11:15, but it was all worth it. It is not a professional job, but it does look tons better. Hurray for clean carpets!!
