Will's Surprise Entry: Cars

Yesterday was supposed to be the perfect evening for Matt and I. There's a disc golf course next to the Mt Timpanogas Temple (15 min away) that we like to play. It's a more "advanced" course which means the girls don't like going because it's got more ups and downs and is a harder hike. The course is also less maintained and less "nice".

Anyway, yesterday Kristin and Mickie threw a baby shower for Britany. It also happened to be perfect weather. On a scale of 1-10 . . . 10! Well we were driving over with HD and Travis (Kristin's cousin). We took Matt's old Mazda Protige. We were in semi-residential when a Lexus SUV was driving our direction on the street. They didn't know where they were going and were indecisive about left or straight. At the last second, they made a left right in front of us. Matt yelled and we all braced for impact.

HD got out first wheezing about his chest, Travis soon after. That left Matt and I - I was sitting behind him & just envisioning him passed out over the steering wheel. I asked if he was OK and he moaned an affirmative. So I got out and the 2 girls (driving the other vehicle) were freaking out.

To make a long story short, we're all OK, though a little sore today. I think all of us have red marks where our seatbelts dug into our chest. The girls were weirded out because we were all laughing and joking about the whole ordeal. I think it was mainly because we were all surprised that we weren't injured.
PS - This is my 1st post with loaded pictures!

Glad to know that you were all okay. Hopefully tonight's weather will be just as nice.

All of you should go get checked out...of course on the other peoples insurance. My sister is a massage therapist and when I did not get checked out after I got hit last year she told me that she gets so many people with messed up backs that when she asks if they have been in any accidents they say yeah, like 20 years ago. She said that even if you feel fine, go get checked, easier to have the person who hit you pay for it now, than you to pay for it in years to come:)

Those pictures are nuts. I can only imagine your bruise from the seat belt now Will, the welts were pretty bad after the accident.
