DVD Recorder

Will has been wanting me to put that story in the blog for a long time. So that it would end up in the journal. I am glad he finally did it.

What a great weekend we had. Friday night was spent hanging out with Paul and Mieka. They were baby sitting their nephews that are 3 years and 18 months. Jason loved playing with them. He didn't want to be left out so he walked every where. Once they start, they learn to walk really fast.

Saturday we bought a DVD recorder from Matt and Mickie. It doesn't record DVD to DVD because of a decoding signal, so that is a bummer. We could buy an unscrambler, but that would cost another 80 buck. I am still debating on whether or not to get one. I probably annoyed every one trying to figure it out. Thanks for putting up with me.

We now know that we can't take Jason to movies any more. I think we are going to have to switch off nights with Art and Steph. The kids love playing with each other anyways. We went to see Deja Vu. Poor Will sat in the hall the whole time. We will have to go rent it. I think he would enjoy it. It was fascinating.

That night we also went out to eat a Carrabas. My mom won a gift certificate there and we split it between us and Matt and Mickie. The food was pretty pricey, but it was good. The service was really good too. I ordered a ravioli. I ate one bite and it was nasty. The waitress came over and asked if the food was good. I said "No, I don't like it." She then asked if they could switch it for a different dish. It was great. They had the new dish out with in 5 min. I didn't know that you could switch the dish. I guess it is a standard. If you don't like something all you have to do is tell them and they will get you something else. Maybe I will be a little more daring now.

Sunday was a fun night hanging out with the Maxwells. We always love going over watching TV and talking. It sounds like every one is doing well over there. Steph started a blog, so now we can keep up with their lives as well. There is a link on the side. I love being able to keep in touch.
