Conference weekend was full of food, family, and fun. Matt and Mickie came on Friday night to hang out. We invited Bobbie and Jeremy over to play settlers as well. I still have a settlers craving going on. Maybe next weekend.
Saturday morning was pretty bad weather, but Matt and Will still went disc golfing. They have to practice for next weekend (it is the big tournament). We watched conference and then the food part of the weekend started.
Matt, Mickie, Will, and I decided to use our Octavios gift certificates Saturday night. Not a big deal, right. Well the restaurant changed their name and upped their prices. We still had the gift certificate, so it wasn't a big deal.
Dinner came and my order was messed up. I finally got it when everyone had finished their dinner. I felt really bad everyone was waiting on me. The waiter was just ok, and offered me a scoop of ice cream for compensation. Well the guys were already late for priesthood session, so I asked for a piece of cake to go instead. It was pretty good cake if I do say so myself. Then Will payed for dinner and we left. He stuck his hand in his pocket and yup as you guessed it, there was the gift certificate he was suppose to use. Oh man that dinner cost Will and I a bundle. At least we got a free piece of cake?!? Will is now going to try and sell the gift certificate at his work for cheaper. I really don't want to go back to that place.
We had Colton and his friends, Suzanne and Nate, and Matt and Mickie all sleep over at our house. It was a ton of people.
I then spent most of the day cooking (my choice of course). We had delicious cinnamon swirl french toast with vanilla syrup for breakfast, for dinner we had stew and rolls, then for dessert we ate Amish apple pie. Oh it was so good. I think with all that I ate this weekend I will be able to gain my 2 pounds for the week. If you look in the picture that random guy is Nate, Suzanne's boyfriend. He is a pretty nice guy.
Mickie has more pictures and a different take on the weekend. Like I said I spent most of the time in the kitchen on Sunday, but it was well worth it.

Nice! The food just made my mouth water! Off to go run... :)
Goodness...how woould it be to have to gain weight? I still remember coming close to 180 with you and HD.
I'm glad you are so willing to let everyone stay with you, I know it's a lot of work, but it's cool to able to be together.
Although Jason doesn't look a whole lot like Will, he takes after him with the squat.
Ottavio's is still Ottavio's in Provo, isn't it? Just a thought. Anyway, looks like your weekend was fun.....can't wait till Art gets back and we can crash your parties too:)
