Tons happened again this weekend. I don't think that we ever have a do-nothing-weekend. We all keep ourselves pretty busy, whether it is playing games or BYU football games.The weather was pretty bad this weekend, but don't worry, Will got in his round of disc golf with Art on Friday. Poor Matt couldn't make it down in time. Maybe next time.
Friday night was Settlers with Travis, Nate, Will, and I. Mickie and Suzanne are funny, they don't want to play and be all stressed out, but they sure will watch.
Saturday the weather was pretty bad. We went and bought our pumpkins. It was such a fast process. Usually we are standing there forever, but they had a really good selection and with in 3 min we all had out pumpkins. It was so nice.
At the store they were doing a kids club activity of making cookie. Poor Mickie was asked if she wanted to make a cookie. The lady thought she was a kid.
Jason sure did enjoy eating the cookie. Ok confession, I ate most of it.
Jason was off running around with Matt in the store... I couldn't help it.
Mickie and I made Caramel apples before the game. Humm that was quite the experience. The caramel actually stayed on the apples but humm we over cooked the caramel. They looked really cool.
At one point Matt bit into the apple with a huge crack and asked "Do I still have all of my teeth?"
He then proceeded to say "I have never worked so hard to eat a snack in my entire life. I surrender to you caramel!" We all were laughing so hard. I don't know what hurt more my stomach or jaw. Next year we will perfect them.We then headed to the BYU game, which was freezing. It rained/snowed off and on. Will and I left at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Yeah we were wimps. We were winning by quite a bit when we left.
We watched transformers while Will drafted his fantasy basketball team. Yeah 2 hours later he joined us and then everyone left. Poor guy missed the whole movie. From what I caught of it, I thought it was really good.
Sunday we went over and hung out at the Maxwell's. Steph showed us a hidden video on the Mulan dvd with Jackie Chan singing "I'll make a man out of you" in Mandarin. It is pretty bad. His yellow jacket/pants make the whole video. You can tell they didn't spend to much money on that video.
It is so nice to have so much family living around here. I always enjoy seeing everyone.

Matt is too funny! Sorry about the caramel... I would have left the game early too-I am also a wimp. It is nice to have family so close. :)
Man those carmel Apples looked great! They were a bit decieving when it can to taste, huh? Well, I'm still trying to be a big loser, so I wouldn't have eaten one anyway. SUZANNE???
At least you can go to the game we can't watch or go these days!! STUPID MTN. And I'm starting to think I want a new comissioner... out with Craig!
That was so funny.. when matt bit into that apple. Poor Will I am sure Matt will come over and watch Transformers again with Will anytime.
