I decided that Jason and I would watch Monsters Inc. as a sort of Halloween movie. When the scary parts were happening this is what he would do. It's not just Parker.
Will and I bought 2 bags of candy to hand out to the kids. We got a total of 2 groups of kids before we headed over to the Maxwell's. Well at least Jason has had fun playing with it all. Good thing he can't open it yet. I do have to mention that one of the groups of kids was from our primary class and they asked for Noni chews. We had some packs laying around, so why not. They were so excite. Haha, Noni chews for Halloween, who thought that up...
The hat, mask, and slippers made the whole outfit.
He even keep them all on, the whole time. I was sure the hat would be off in no time, but he didn't care.
It was Jason's first time trick or treating. If you notice a red Tootsie pop is in his had in every picture. That was his first piece of candy and he would not put it down (he knew what it was from Mickie's work last weekend).
We had a great time trick or treating with the Maxwell's. By the end Jason was really getting into it and even saying thank you and bye. (Nope he didn't know how to say trick or treat, next year we will practice). He was so patient waiting at each of the door.
Will was great with Jason and took him to almost all the doors. I helped give him a break every now and then.
By the end Jason would not put the candy in his bag. He would grip it tight and when Will said, "Put the candy in the bag," Jason would respond with a happy enthusiastic, "Noooo."
It made it tough to take his jacket off when we were done.
Yeah I know that is a lot of Jason in his costume. At least today is the last time you will see it :) Oh and Linda's neighborhood was great to go to. Very kid friendly and Jason even ended up with 3 regular sized candy bars. One of which Jason picked out a baby ruth. Who likes those... This year Jason's candy of choice was Tootsie pops and Tootsie rolls... Humm those will probably be thrown away, yuck!

Yay! I've been waiting all morning for this entry . . . "The doctor will be in to take your candy now!"
LOL, Will...you crack me up. :) I love all the pictures. The action shots at the doors, trying to get his coat off, and especially the one of all of you together. :) Looks like you had fun!
You guys look so cute. i love Jason's costume.
I love that Jason is eyeing his candy in almost every picture. I can see his little brian thinking, "Is this for real? You just walk up to a door and they give you this stuff? I'm not letting it go for anything!"
And so true the hat, mask and booties make the outfit!!
One thing to note: After his Trick or Treating, he ditched all the candy to play with Parks and Brights' toys. Fun over food!!! He's a Wu for sure.
What a fun night! Jason is so cute!
hahaha. So cute. Halloween is all about the accessories. The costume doesn't work with out them. As for the Babe Ruth, those are one of my favs. How do you know like those. And Tootsie Rolls. Come on. Sooo good. Your yuck. :)
Thanks for coming up, it made our Halloween more fun:)
Jason is such an easy going kid. Other kids might have yanked off the acessories right away. He is my favorite grandchild.
I'm with Suzanne, I like them too. I don't however remember the last time I had one.
The pictures are great. It's nice to see other kids covering their ears and not their eyes, I wonder what would happen if you muted it?
